Step 1: Go to the Upload Page
Click on the Upload button in the top navigation menu, or visit 25cent.cloud/upload. You'll see the upload interface where you can drag and drop files or click to browse.
Step 2: Upload Your File
- Choose your file: Click the upload area or drag a file into it
- Select file size: 25cent.cloud supports files up to 2GB max
- Wait for upload: Your file will be encrypted and uploaded to our secure servers
You'll see a progress indicator showing the upload status. Once complete, you'll be shown your share link and configuration options.
Step 3: Configure Your Share Settings
After upload, you can customize how your file is shared:
| Setting | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Expiration Time | How long the link remains active (1 hour to 7 days) | 24 hours |
| Password Protection | Optional password to access the file | None |
| Download Limit | Maximum number of downloads allowed (1-unlimited) | Unlimited |
Recommended for first-time users:
- Keep default 24-hour expiration
- Add a password if sharing sensitive information
- Leave download limit unlimited unless you need to track single downloads

What Happens to Your File?
During sharing: Your file is encrypted and stored on our secure servers. Only people with the correct link (and password, if set) can access it.
After expiration: Your file is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers. There's no way to recover it after the expiration time—by design.
On download: Recipients can download the file and save it to their device. Once downloaded, 25cent.cloud cannot control what they do with it (like any file sharing).
