Best Practices for Uploading
For Large Files
If you're uploading large files (over 500 MB):
- Use a wired internet connection for stability
- Avoid uploading during peak hours
- Keep your browser tab active until upload completes
- Consider compressing your files first to reduce size
For Sensitive Documents
When sharing sensitive information:
- Always use password protection
- Set a shorter expiration time
- Enable notifications to track access
For Team Collaboration
When sharing files with your team:
- Use descriptive file names
- Set expiration to 7-14 days
- Monitor downloads via analytics
Tracking Your Downloads
After uploading, you'll have access to real-time analytics showing:
- Total downloads
- When each download occurred
- Geographic location of downloads
- Device information (if shared)
This data is invaluable for understanding how your files are being used and ensuring the right people have access.
Common Upload Questions
Can I upload folders?
Yes! When you select a folder, 25cent.cloud automatically creates a compressed archive (.zip file) containing all contents.
What happens if my upload fails?
Don't worry! If your upload fails, you'll see an error message explaining the issue. Try uploading again. Most failures are temporary network issues.
Can I delete a file before expiration?
Yes. All uploaded files have a delete option available from your upload history. Just click delete, and the file becomes immediately inaccessible.
