When we launched v3.0 five days ago, 25cent.cloud transformed from a file-sharing tool into an ephemeral cloud platform with web tunnels, API keys, billing, and notifications. Today, v3.1 takes that further with four entirely new platform services.

What's New in v3.1

Every new service follows the same principles that define 25cent.cloud: ephemeral by design, pay-as-you-go pricing, zero-install, and automatic cleanup.

🖥️ Remote Support

Browser-based remote desktop sessions. Share a link, the other person clicks it — you can see and control their screen. No agents, no VPN, no software installation on either end.

Built-in tools include real-time chat, file transfer between machines, voice calls, and session recording. Everything is encrypted end-to-end and auto-purged when the session ends.

📧 Temporary Email

Create real, functional email inboxes at `@temp.25cent.cloud` that auto-expire. Send, receive, reply, forward — full email functionality with forwarding rules and webhook notifications for automation.

Unlike free disposable email services, these inboxes are private to your account, support outbound email, and handle attachments up to 25MB.

🗄️ Temporary Databases

Spin up PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, or MySQL instances in seconds. Choose from pre-loaded templates (e-commerce, blog, SaaS, analytics) or start blank. Get a connection string and start querying immediately.

Auto-backup on expiry is optional — export your data before cleanup if needed. Complete data wipe when the instance expires.

📹 Secure Meetings

Zero-install WebRTC video conferencing with screen sharing, chat, recording, and virtual backgrounds. End-to-end encrypted by default — not a paid upgrade. Participants join by clicking a link, no account needed.

Meeting rooms are ephemeral — when the meeting ends, all data (recordings, chat, metadata) is permanently deleted.

Under the Hood

v3.1 adds 4 new service modules, 30+ new API endpoints (bringing the total to 120+), and 50+ new integration tests. The architecture follows the same modular pattern established in v3.0: each service has its own route handler, service layer, and test suite.

All services include per-service billing with usage tracking, volume discount support, and full invoice generation.
